Maybe Brian can look up the minimum specification and publish it (feel free to contact me). Iridient/Brian is undoubtedly using a newer Compiler that uses a specific minimum version of SSE but you could get lucky with the flip of a switch. Although Intel won in the big market place the war is not over AMD is still very strong in video and co-processing and integrated CPUs. The SSE family was started in response to AMD getting ahead and it has been a tug of war between AND and Intel since. IRIDIENT X TRANSFORMER DOWNLOAD MANUALYour motherboard manual (downloadable in most cases) will show where it is - but you can find it by name as well. If your CPU has it then go into the BIOS and see if it is turned on. You can go to CPU world to see if your CPU supports SSE and what (ever-changing) version - enter a search on top of the page: II X4 945 - HDX945WFK4DGM (HDX945WFGMBOX).html IRIDIENT X TRANSFORMER DOWNLOAD DOWNLOADIridient Digital - Iridient X-Transformer 1.0 beta 2 Download The new beta 2 release can be downloaded here: With this beta 2 release I have changed the noise reduction levels some in the direction of lower noise. That said this program is still in early beta and I'm definitely open to feedback on what a good range of adjustment is. If the processing is over done during conversion to DNG the only way to reverse it is to go back and redo the DNG conversion which is a slower, more involved process than adjusting in the RAW processor post conversion so the goal is to err on the side of conservative processing during X-Transformer conversion. ![]() The goal is to output a DNG that provides a reasonable baseline, but still offers a lot of flexibility for later processing adjustment. For example even at high levels the amount of overall noise reduction range in X-Transformer is still only about half that of Iridient Developer where you have much more fine control of different individual parameters and a visual preview. I feel fine tuning of final image appearance is better left to the final RAW processor with visual preview. X-Transformer is designed to output a fairly "raw" image with only mild levels of "capture" stage processing. These are fairly subtle changes, but especially at the High settings for noise reduction you should see notably lower noise levels at high ISO.ĭepending on personal preferences for noise and detail some adjustment to sharpening and noise reduction will still be necessary in your RAW processor of choice. IRIDIENT X TRANSFORMER DOWNLOAD ISOThis should greatly reduce the initial over sharpened look in Lightroom due to strong double sharpening and this will also impact the appearance of noise and other artifacts due to too much sharpening.ģ) Some aspects of sharpening will now automatically vary depending on the ISO which should help reduce some artifacts at higher ISO.Ĥ) Both luminance and color noise reduction strength has been increased particularly for higher ISO. This includes:ġ) A bug with lens distortion correction for some lenses (mostly primes) that could cause a slight cropping or "zoom" effect when lens correction was enabled.Ģ) There are a few new options that disable default Lightroom sharpening, luminance and color noise reduction. Just wanted to note that a few of the issues in this thread have now been addressed in the beta 2 release of X-Transformer. ![]()
